Reunited.

Sadie wanted in on the picture. After 4 years of my aunt keeping her for me, I'm taking her back to live with me. And I'm totally consciously ignoring the fact that my apartment complex doesn't allow pets. I live life on the edge.

Polaroid Perfection

These photos (part of a project influenced by Walker Evans' Depression-era portraits) are simply beautiful. Truly inspiring.

We're in love.

We would be wonderful together. It's going to happen. At the risk of sounding even the slightest like a crazed stalker...we are in love. My love for him goes back to the days of nostril flaring and little girlish screaming on Even Stevens.

Oh, and I bought that AA leotard. I'm going to rock it like no other. Just watch me.

Probably too fashionable for Tennessee to handle.

I never thought I'd even think about putting on a leotard since quitting ballet in 7th grade because, a) why the hell would I wear a leotard, b) when the hell would I wear a leotard, and c) I don't have my 12-year-old body. But this black, reverse low cut leotard from American Apparel has me anxious to work it into my wardrobe. Throw a high-waisted skirt over it, you have sharp, clean silhouette. Baggy jeans with heels or skinny jeans with flats would make a stylish-"I wasn't even trying" outfit. Dress it up, dress it down, it's sleek and versatile.

Yeah. I'm sold now. I tried it on today when I picked up another oh-so-comfy mini skirt (I have one in green; I just bought the black one) and surprisingly the leotard actually flaunted my curves in a good way. I hesitated to buy it because, well, it IS a LEOTARD, but mostly because I've been burning my last paycheck obscenely fast. I guess I should take back a grayish-awkward-color purse that I probably don't really need before I purchase this leotard that I probably don't really need.

Dear God.

Those puppy dog eyes. That dimple in his chin. Delicious.

What am I doing.

I'm not entirely sure what compelled me to start yet another blog. It's an epidemic that has flaired up a few times a year over the last 3 years. I always start it, totally gung-ho, and 2 days later I'm over it. Let me just say, I've blogged enough from ages 12-16 to last a lifetime. I blogged when no one outside the online realm knew what "blog" was. I was apart of the early underground teenage bloggers, in the time of Greymatter, when we designed our own layouts, tracked our comments like fiends, and spent hours upon hours marketing our websites to other fellow underground teenage bloggers. So I've been there.
